Vaccinations & Health Requirements
Current Rabies vaccination is required for all transportation and In-Home Care pets. We strongly encourage customers to fax or deliver current vaccination records in advance to avoid any last minute confusion.
Our staff is trained to spot declining health in well animals, but we do not provide veterinary services and are not trained to care for animals with special health needs. We will gladly administer medication for minor, non-communicable health problems.
If we detect a developing health concern, we will evaluate the situation, contact the pet owner and act according to their instructions. If we sense that the situation is urgent, we will contact the pet’s veterinarian on file for instructions and provide transportation if necessary. The owner or designated emergency contact will always be notified as soon as it is practical.
